Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

"One day a moment will come when you will decide to do the right thing. To choose above yourself for the better of others"
"Yes, I love those moments! I like to wave at them as they pass by.. "

When Pirates of Caribbean - at the world’s end ended with the promise of the fountain of youth, I could barely contain myself! It was worse than the end of Matrix Reloaded! (They had simply written ‘ to be continued’, at the end of matrix II, as if this is some weekly TV serial). Anyway, this wait was much more and worse than that because this one I actually wanted to watch. Everytime I'd watch a re-run of the movie, I knew something even better, newer, more exciting was coming up!But somehow everything did not sit well when it actually happened, as things seldom do when hugely anticipated. It was a good movie! Don’t get me wrong. It was good for any movie which had not committed the sin of introducing us to the charm of the Black Pearl and Jack Sparrow and the mysterious Caribbean islands, and Tortuga and Barbossa and Yo! Ho! And a bottle of Rum!!Well, there were some true moments, and some beautiful cinematography. The way to fountain of youth, mermaids, fight chase with the Spanish troops was very piratey ! But it did leave me asking for more ( not in a good way). I was like the lady in the horse-cab who says, “That’s it?!” clearly disappointed at the abrupt end of story for her, but far from getting something, actually gets robbed! From the end of this one though, it seems that this will be the real end of the good pirates' world for us, as Jack Sparrow end this one with, “It’s a Pirate’s life for me”. But taking the bait, again, I do hope they come up with the next one. So much that I’m ready to endure another such wait, only that this time - the fountain of youth, now that they’ve found it, should trickle into the quirky story also, making us want for more ( in a good way!) ;) .
